I am beyond excited to announce that Play Like A Girl has been published!!!!!!
I want to thank everyone who supported me and believed in this project! My goal is, and always has been, to help inspire girls to try anything and know that they are just as good as their male counter parts. My hope in publishing this photo series is that this message can reach girls throughout my community and beyond! I will be a guest on 'Conversations with Mel McKay' at 1pm on TV30 (Tri-Valley Community Television), which will air October 1st and run through the month of October.
I will be selling and signing books at the Montair Elementary Fall Fair on October 7th from 12-4pm

Book signing at The Nest
I had the privilege to be part of the Livery's family oriented summer festival. The Nest not only hosted my signing, but donated the proceeds made that evening to the Women's Sports Foundation. Thank you!!!

Book Launch at Lemon Gift Shop
In collaboration with Lemon, I hosted launch party to celebrate the release of the book. The focus of the event was the subjects of PLAY LIKE A GIRL, the athletes. More than 15 subjects were able to attend the event, where they were treated to a red carpet photo op, snacks and refreshments and the opportunity to mingle with other girls from the book and autograph their page in the book.
All author royalties made during the event were donated to The Women's Sports Foundation to help support girls involvement in sports.
